Job Description:

The MDM Engineer will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the MDM platform (AirWatch). They will ensure device security, manage mobile application policies, and support the MDM infrastructure, including cloud connectivity and disaster recovery compliance.

 

Role: MDM Engineer

• Duration: 6-month contract (likely extension)
• Location: New York City (100% Onsite)
• Visa Status: Open (Any visa status except H1B/transfer)
• Experience: Senior candidates (10+ years preferred), local candidates strongly preferred
• Client: Mizuho bank

 

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• MDM Solution: AirWatch (VM Workspace ONE UEM/Workspace ONE Access SME)
• Mobile Device Management:
  • Device inventory, security, and management (iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS)
  • MDM platform engineering and maintenance
  • Mobile application management and carrier services
  • End user support (Level 2 and 3)
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Apple DEP/ABM/VPP/APNS, Android EMM
  • Workspace ONE infrastructure: Cloud Connector, UEM device profiles, Universal Access Gateway, Secure Email Gateway
  • Core Workspace ONE apps: Hub, Boxer, Content, Web, Tunnel
  • General understanding of VPN tunneling, AD users, LDAP, and Secure LDAP
• Preferred Skills:
  • O365 / Federated authentication, certificates, API knowledge
  • Windows server administration, ServiceNow familiarity

 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience, along with relevant certifications.
