Our client is looking Apigee Engineer for long term project in New York, NY (ONSITE) Below is the detail requirement.

Job Title: Apigee Engineer
Location: New York, NY (ONSITE)
Duration: Long term

Job Description:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience with minimum of 6+ years of IT experience.

Required Skills:
• Experience in designing and implementing API platform for high traffic API solutions
• Strong troubleshooting skills in the API Management and Gateway space (Mainly Apigee)Design, build, maintain and support the Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid and On-Prem Automate manual tasks that are currently being performed (install, configure, apply patching, etc?)
• Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee
• Lead Capacity Planning and Management activities to ensure that the Apigee platform will be able to handle current and additional transactions in the future
• Lead root cause analysis session to understand Production issues and come up with solutions that will prevent them from happening in the future
• Good understanding of REST API and JSON
• Knowledge of existing API Testing Tools (Postman, SoapUI, or any equivalent tools)
• Experience with configuration automation tools (Puppet/Chef/Salt)
• Experience with automation using Ansible, Terraform
• Experience working with database technologies - SQL/NoSQL (Postgres/Cassandra)Experience with shell and python scripting
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Test Automation and Release Management)Deep experience working on large scale deployments of Linux Networking expertise, including but not limited to DNS, Load Balancing technologies, NAT & VPN
• Ability to apply security, throttling, OAuth, TLS, certificates, KeyStore, and Trust store for the Apigee platform
• Experience with Apigee Management APIs and integration to the enterprise systems including: Infrastructure & Application monitoring, Authorization and Authentication, Logging, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deploy (CI/CD) and the Developer Portal
• Have previously worked on an enterprise platform team that supports multiple Software Development product teams
• Knowledge of Systems and Networking ? TCP and IP, Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Load Balancing
